What the trip looks like

Sri Lanka works well as a short trip from Kuala Lumpur, a direct flight into Colombo, and the whole island is drivable in a week.

The usual round is the hill country by train to Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, a safari at Yala or Udawalawe, and a few nights on the south coast.

Temple travel to Kataragama, Nallur and the Sri Dalada Maligawa is a common request, and we build the route around the days you need to be there.

Sri Lanka runs an ETA rather than a full visa, and we can lodge it for you along with the ticket.

December to March suits the west and south coasts and the hill country. May to September is better for the east coast, which has its own separate season.
