The itinerary
Day by day
A complete six-temple circuit through Tamil Nadu, in the traditional order of the Padai Veedu. Private vehicle, hotel each night, and darshan timings planned around temple opening hours.

Chennai → Tiruttani
- Stay: Tiruttani / Chennai
- 5th Padai Veedu
- Depart Chennai and travel to Tiruttani.
- Tiruttani Murugan Temple, the 5th Padai Veedu.
- Darshan and temple time.

Tiruttani → Swamimalai
- Stay: Swamimalai / Kumbakonam
- 4th Padai Veedu
- Travel towards Swamimalai.
- Swamimalai Murugan Temple, the 4th Padai Veedu.
- Darshan and temple time.

Palani
- Stay: Palani
- 3rd Padai Veedu
- Travel to Palani.
- Palani Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, the 3rd Padai Veedu.
- Ascent by rope car, winch car or steps.

Thiruchendur
- Stay: Thiruchendur
- 2nd Padai Veedu
- Travel to Thiruchendur on the coast.
- Thiruchendur Subramaniya Swamy Temple, the 2nd Padai Veedu.
- Evening or special darshan.

- Stay: Madurai
- 1st Padai Veedu
- Travel to Madurai.
- Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, the 1st Padai Veedu.
- Madurai sightseeing if time permits.

Pazhamudircholai → Return
- 6th Padai Veedu
- Departure day
- Pazhamudircholai Murugan Temple, the 6th Padai Veedu.
- Alagar Kovil visit if required.
- Return journey, with drop at Madurai or Chennai depending on the package.

This is a suggested itinerary. Start point, hotel category, number of nights and the drop-off city are all adjusted to your group, tell us your dates and headcount and we will quote against them.

- Itinerary sequence, hotels, meals and sightseeing may be adjusted where operating conditions require it, particularly during peak periods and festival dates.
